SF mayor to offer Lucas land for Star Wars museum

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- On Wednesday SKY7HD was above what could be the future site of George Lucas' Star Wars museum.

It's a piece of prime real estate on the Embarcadero -- Piers 30 and 32. This is the same place where the Warriors initially proposed to build their new arena.

San Francisco and Chicago are engaged in a tug-of-war to land the museum.

An official letter offering the land to Lucas will be sent on Thursday by Mayor Ed Lee.
