Utah museum now home to dinosaur skeletons dating back 125M years

LEHIGH, Utah -- A Utah museum is about to become home to 125-million-year-old dinosaur skeletons.

"This thing is about twice as old as a tyrannosaurus rex," one paleontologist said.

Inside a 9-ton block of plaster are as many as 10 Utah raptor skeletons. They were found in a quarry 15 years ago north of Arches National Park.

It took years of planning and careful coordination to remove them and bring it to the Museum of Ancient Life in Lehigh, Utah.

Paleontologists believe the site is the first documented example of dinosaurs trapped by quicksand.
