Macy's, Bloomingdales to test same-day delivery

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Good news for online shoppers -- Macy's and Bloomingdale's will soon offer same-day delivery for products on its websites.

San Francisco and San Jose will be among only a handful of cities where the new service will be offered this fall.

Other cities include Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Houston; but not New York City.

Macy's customers will also be able to pick up online purchases in stores.
