SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A date is now set for the closure of Goodwill's flagship store in San Francisco.
Officials say the store on Mission Street near Van Ness Avenue will close Aug. 12, a week from Saturday.
News of the closure isn't new.
Goodwill sold the property to a developer back in 2014. A large-scale office and residential building will go up on the site. Goodwill has already replaced the store -- opening a new one, along with a headquarters on Bay Street.
