MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. (KGO) -- A 3-year-old boy in Oregon somehow managed to crash a car into a neighbor's house, and then went home to watch cartoons.

It happened last week in Myrtle Creek, north of Grants Pass.

Police say his mother didn't notice when the boy got the keys, crawled inside the car, and knocked it out of gear.

A neighbor called 911 when she saw the child rolling by in the Jeep before hitting the house.

Sensing he might be in trouble, the boy, in his diaper, dashed home and began watching cartoons.

His mom was cited for failing to supervise her son.
