BEYOND THE HEADLINES
AIRS: Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 10:00AM
Hosted by ABC7's Cheryl Jennings
Today's Beyond the Headlines looks at a topic many of us encounter... bullying. Dealing with a bully can be difficult and traumatic for people of any age. We see it in schools, at the workplace, and on social media. For instance, when Robin Williams died, his daughter Zelda was called names and sent altered photos of him.
Bullying can cause physical harm and emotional damage to children for a long time. It can lead to difficulty in forming healthy relationships, as well as lead to depression, poor self-image, and even suicide.
