Abominable snowwoman walks dog to spread holiday cheer

ALLOUEZ, Wis. (KGO) -- A celebrity of sorts is attracting a lot of attention in a suburb of Green Bay. A woman in Wisconsin has been walking with her poodle named Blizzard every day while dressed in an abominable snowwoman costume. She calls herself "Bumble."

When asked what she's doing while walking the streets of Allouez, she said, "Visit from Misfit Island."

That's right, Misfit Island, where you can find Santa, Yukon Cornelius, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

She says she's doing this to spread cheer and a message to love and care about everyone.

"Bumble" is getting a lot of attention. People stop to take pictures every day.

"When she turned the corner I said to her, 'thank you, you gave me a smile on my face for two days,'" said crossing guard Pam Laabs. "I just thought it was funny."

Mail carrier Karen Panure adds, "It's very festive, you know, gets you in the Christmas spirit. It's good."

"Bumble" hopes to bring people joy and happiness for the holidays and beyond.
