Dan Ashley hosts annual Rock the CASA concert
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KGO) -- ABC7 News Anchor Dan Ashley's Rock the CASA Foundation hosted its annual concert at Lesher Center for the Arts on Saturday.
It was an evening of music for Court Appointed Special Advocates, featuring legendary rocker Eddie Money.
A Santana autographed guitar sold for $2,100 .
Rock the CASA supports two causes: Court Appointed Special Advocates, which helps children removed from home because of abuse or neglect and Friends of Camp Concord, which sends under-served kids to summer camp.
CASA volunteers dedicate countless hours to the benefit of children in crisis. Their volunteerism requires extensive training and support.
Friends of Camp Concord gives young people one of the most meaningful camp experiences available in Lake Tahoe.
Through this organization, kids who otherwise couldn't afford it get the same chance to enjoy a week in the wilderness as anyone else.
