FAA bans drones from Fort Mason airspace during Fleet Week

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There's a warning for drone pilots this Fleet Week - keep your aircraft grounded.
The Federal Aviation Administration has restricted all aircrafts, manned and unmanned, within five miles of an area just north of Fort Mason.

Only planes flying above 15,000 feet are allowed in the airspace.
The restriction is in effect from Thursday through Sunday.
