SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Hillary Clinton is dipping into Silicon Valley for help on her possible 2016 presidential run.

Clinton has hired longtime Google executive Stephanie Hannon to oversee technology development and build new ways for Clinton to engage with voters.

Hannon has worked in Silicon Valley for two decades and would be the first woman to hold the title of Chief Technology Officer on a major presidential campaign.

Clinton is widely expected to announce her campaign by the end of the month.
