Leopard shark at aquarium enjoys belly rubs
A leopard shark that lives in an aquarium on the island of New Caledonia is defying the bloodthirsty shark stereotype.

When you think of sharks, what words come to mind? Maybe scary or vicious, right?

Well, one a leopard shark that lives at an aquarium on the island of New Caledonia in the southwest Pacific Ocean is defying the stereotype.

Apparently, he's very fond of belly rubs!

The aquarium posted video online with a caption in French. Roughly translated it says, "The leopard shark in the big tank interrupts the technician during his chores for his daily little cuddle!"

The shark, who almost looks like he's smiling, basked in the belly rub for almost two minutes before swimming off!
