Oakland offers $25,000 in grants for artists to create public murals

New art is practically everywhere you look in Oakland, and yes the artists really love Stomper -- the Oakland A's mascot.

Now there's $25,000 up for grabs for artists who want to add to the scene.

Grants for projects from $500 to $5,000 are available.

Artists can apply through Visit Oakland -- the city's tourism agency.
