SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A simple soccer game quickly became a heated clash over class in San Francisco's Mission District.
This all happened about two weeks ago at the Mission Park soccer field and a video of it was posted on YouTube.
A group of young tech workers tried to kick some local teens off the field because they had reserved it through the city, but the teens refused to go, claiming the field had always been a place for pick-up games. Things got worse when a permit was produced, with the teens arguing money can't change neighborhood rules that had been in place for years.
After looking into the matter, ABC7 News found the city allows people to reserve the field for $27 an hour.
