The Yard at Mission Rock opening this weekend

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There is an exciting new attraction in San Francisco that you have to try out this weekend and ABC7 News got a sneak peek.

The Yard at Mission Rock opens Friday at noon.

That's the new gathering place across from AT&T Park in the Giants parking lot A. It features vendors with food and drink, pop-up shops housed in recycled shipping containers and open space to hang out.

The Yard plans to stay open year-round, seven days a week, and it will also host cultural and community events.
