Agent says Redskins rookie Jamison Crowder didn't hit woman

The agent for Washington Redskins rookie Jamison Crowder denied Thursday that his client hit a woman, saying photos that were posted to Crowder's Instagram and Twitter accounts suggesting he had done so were the result of the accounts being hacked.

Someone, allegedly an ex-girlfriend, posted photos on Crowder's accounts showing bruises on a woman's arm as well as a cut lip. The comment under the posting read, in part, "Ive had things thrown at me, poured on me, ive been choked, had a concussion... The list goes on." The individual wrote that because Crowder continued to show that his heart wasn't with her anymore, she had no reason to protect him.

But Crowder's agent, Tory Dandy, said, "His account was hacked. Jamison hasn't hit anybody."

His Twitter account has been deleted and the photos no longer appear on his Instagram account. There is no record of any domestic violence involving Crowder in Loudoun County, where the Redskins train year-round.

The Redskins released a statement, saying: "The Washington Redskins are aware of an off-field situation involving Jamison Crowder. We have been in touch with the NFL office and will continue to follow proper League protocol and assist them in any way we can to gather all of the facts. We will not be making any further comment at this time."

The NFL confirmed that the team has notified them of the situation.

Crowder, a fourth-round pick, has created buzz during spring workouts for the Redskins. He's expected to be their punt returner and contribute as a slot receiver.
