FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Atlanta Falcons coach Dan Quinn said he has no doubts about top receiver Julio Jones playing against the New York Giants on Sunday despite Jones dealing with hamstring soreness.

"None," Quinn said Thursday when pressed on the issue.

Jones will not practice Thursday and was held out of Wednesday's practice. Quinn indicated Jones would have full participation during Friday's practice.

Jones, named the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week, was injured in Monday night's 26-24 season-opening win over the Eagles. He told ESPN.com both his legs and arm got banged up on the turf inside the Georgia Dome, but Jones did not immediately reveal the hamstring injury. He caught nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns against the Eagles.

"By me being able to go back out there, it wasn't nothing serious," Jones said of finishing the Eagles game after experiencing hamstring soreness. "Didn't go yesterday. Just precautionary. ... I'm going to be ready to go (Sunday)."
