Giants announce pitcher for Game 1 in NLCS

SAN FRANISCO (KGO) -- The Giants have just announced their starting pitcher for Game 1 of the National Championship series in Saint Louis Saturday.

Giants ace Madison Bumgarner will pitch the first game.

The team left AT&T Park Thursday for the airport, before catching a flight to St. Louis.

The Giants have not announced who will pitch in Sunday night's Game 2, but Jake Peavy is likely.

Game 3 will be at AT&T Park next Tuesday.
