Giants to exercise club option on LHP Matt Moore

The San Francisco Giants will exercise their 2018 club option for left-hander Matt Moore.

The 2013 All-Star has struggled this year, going 5-14 with a 5.39 ERA.

Last week, Moore told the San Francisco Chronicle that he wanted to stay with the Giants.

"It's been great, the time I've been here, minus the winning percentage," he said. "I've really enjoyed the city and staff we work with every day, the ballpark and the division."
