Kevin Durant won the league MVP award in 2013-14 and had four scoring titles before going to Golden State last season. But there was still one thing missing on his resume: an NBA championship.

Durant accomplished that in his first year with the Warriors, and the 2017 Finals MVP was honored on opening night of this season with his first championship ring.

The 29-year-old recently shared the moment where he received his bling onYouTube, giving fans a glimpse at how the day transpired.

The video begins with Durant -- while getting a haircut -- reacting to watching Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward dislocate his ankle against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the game played before the Warriors faced the Houston Rockets in a doubleheader.

"It just sucks to see man. So we're all praying for him, we all got his back," Durant said. "This is a fraternity, and when stuff like that happens we gotta try to rally around each other."

There was also a heartfelt moment when Durant's mother, Wanda, took a second to try on the 11-carat championship ring herself. She added, while holding back tears, "Wow. He did it."

Now in his 11th season, Durant aims to earn a second straight title with this supremely talented Warriors team.
