Kevin Durant has been pretty vocal on Twitter this season. But if we told you a year ago he would be in a Twitter debate about trading LeBron James with rapper Lil Dicky, would you believe it? Probably not.

Yet here we are. Apparently Lil Dicky and Durant have history, though -- Durant appeared in a music video for the rapper in 2015.

It all started when Lil Dicky tweeted Wednesday that if he were Cleveland, he would "one thousand percent" trade LeBron. Bold.

Hence why his former colleague felt the need to respond.

Durant went from the "it's LeBron James" argument to singing a different tune and borderline agreeing with Lil Dicky. But hey, his last tweet isn't wrong.

If the Cavs could trade LeBron -- "could" being the key word here -- they would in all likelihood get an epic bunch in return. But the fact remains the Cavaliers couldn't trade him even if they wanted to. LeBron has a no-trade clause that he has saidhe will not waive for any teams at any point during the 2017-18 season.

Still, let's continue to debate the "what ifs" because the potential possibilities in this case are endless and -- let's be real -- quite entertaining.
