OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Some fans thought the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors would be the inevitable Western Conference championship matchup anyway.

And Golden State showed its respect for Greg Popovich and his Spurs by practicing an extra long two hours today - the first practice since San Antonio knocked off the Rockets.

At the Warriors store in Oracle fans were picking up free team flags and predicting a relatively easy Golden State series win. The players predicted some hard work ahead.

"We are super excited. We got five, six days of rest. But we know that it is important to get reenergized both mentally and physically and at the same time stay sharp," said guard Kevin Durant.

"Every challenge that the Warriors came up against this year they had the answer and now they're full strength and they're going to do it," said fan John Sugano.

"I'm looking for the win," sad fan Bernard Griffith. "I'm looking for us to go all the way and Lebron, here we come."

Golden State hasn't really been tested this postseason sweeping Portland and Utah. We'll see if they can keep it going starting Sunday at 12:30 at Oracle.
