MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Golden State Warriors center Marreese Speights will undergo an MRI exam here Sunday to determine the severity of the calf injury he suffered in Saturday night's Game 3 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
After scoring a flurry of six straight points early in the fourth quarter, Speights limped to the bench rubbing the back of his lower right leg.
Soon thereafter he was ruled out for the rest of the game with what the Warriors listed as a strained right calf.
Speights, who played parts of two seasons with the Grizzlies before signing with the Warriors in the summer of 2013, finished with nine points in less than six minutes of court time in Golden State's 99-89 defeat.
