Can the San Francisco Giants win another even year World Series? ABC7 News Sports Anchor Mike Shumann said they have enough talent on this roster to pull it off.

ARIZONA (KGO) -- The San Francisco Giants held their first full squad workout down in Scottsdale, Arizona on Tuesday.

The Giants won the World Series in 2010 to 2012 and 2014. We're back to an even year and so it has been discussed in camp whether they will win.

This is really subject matter for fans to get excited about, but when ABC7 News asked players about this, there is an oddity to these even years.

The Giants as a team try to win the World Series every year and the upcoming 2016 season will be no different, but some players said there may be something to this.

"You have to buy into it otherwise we're wasting our time down here, so we made the moves, we added some great talent in the off season. Bobby has done a great job bringing in some guys and expectations are high," Giants pitcher Javier Lopez said.

"That's the goal, but right now we're buying into the even year thing. I think the guys are excited to get out there and keep the training going," Giants catcher Andrew Susac said.

Second baseman Kelby Tomlinson has missed all three runs at the title and he definitely hopes it's true. "We try to go out and win as many games every year and ultimately win it all in the end. You know whether it's an even year or not, we're still prepared to win it all," he said.

The run for the title started Tuesday in Arizona and they have enough talent on this roster to pull it off.
