SAN JOSE (KGO) -- The San Jose Earthquakes' new stadium has a new name. The soccer team's new home will be known as Avaya Stadium.
The partnership is one of the richest in major league soccer. The Santa Clara tech service company will pay $20 million over 10 years for naming rights to the stadium. Speaking of money, the cost of the stadium has shot up from $60 million to $100 million. The 18,000 seat stadium is scheduled to open in March for the 2015 season.
