SFPD, SFFD gear up to play flag football at Candlestick Park

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The last football game ever at Candlestick Park will take place on Saturday. There will actually be two games -- one with 49ers "Legends of Candlestick" and the other between San Francisco police officers and firefighters.

The SFPD and SFFD flag football teams held their final practice at Moscone Baseball Field on Wednesday before the big game. They will compete at Candlestick Park at 4:30 p.m., right before the 49ers Legends of Candlestick game.

ABC7 sports anchor and 49ers alumni Mike Shumann is already in deep training for the Legends game, which starts at 7 p.m.
