ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Von Miller won't have to worry about getting fined for the dances he's about to come up with next.
The Super Bowl MVP will be a contestant on ABC's upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars," a source confirmed to ESPN's Jeff Legwold.
It was announced Wednesday that "Fuller House" star Jodie Sweetin will also take part in the show's 22nd season. The rest of the cast won't be revealed until Tuesday on "Good Morning America."
BSN Denver first reported Miller's scheduled appearance on the popular prime-time show.
Miller has made a career of sacking quarterbacks and celebrating with different dances, some of which have gotten him fined. His "Key & Peele" sack dance last season cost him $11,567.
"I like to dance," Miller said during Super Bowl week. "First thing, I like to dance. Sometimes I think about it; sometimes they just happen. But I dance at practice all the time, I just like to dance. I like to show emotion. I say you have a younger generation that pays close attention to that and that is what they follow. So give them something to follow, plus I just like it."
Since Miller's pair of sack strips of Cam Newton led the Denver Broncos past the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50, he has been a staple on the talk-show circuit. He also made a cameo on "Saturday Night Live" and presented at the Grammy Awards.
The Broncos placed their exclusive franchise tag on him this week, buying them more time to work out a long-term contact that is expected to make the 26-year-old linebacker the NFL's highest-paid defender.
Miller joins a lengthy list of NFL players and other athletes who have competed on "Dancing with the Stars," including Donald Driver, Michael Irvin, Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, Lawrence Taylor, Hines Ward, Apolo Anton Ohno, Helio Castroneves, Meryl Davis, Shawn Johnson, Lolo Jones, Sugar Ray Leonard, Metta World Peace and Kristi Yamaguchi.
