Steph Curry (knee) out vs. Pelicans

Stephen Curry sat out the Warriors' 123-101 victory over the New Orleans Pelicanson Saturday night because of a left knee contusion.

The Warriors said the move was a precautionary measure.

Shaun Livingston started for Curry and had 14 points on 7-for-10 shooting and six assists.

Curry didn't participate in shootaround Saturday morning, and he skipped Friday's practice session, but Kerr said he expects Curry to be available to play Monday when the Utah Jazz visit the Bay Area.

Saturday marked teammate Kevin Durant's first game back after missing five weeks with a knee injury.

DeMarcus Cousins (right Achilles tendinitis) and Anthony Davis (left knee) were sidelined for the Pelicans, who were eliminated from the playoffs earlier this week.
