OAKLAND -- Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry set an NBA record by knocking down 13 3-pointers in Monday night's 116-106 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

The previous single-game record was 12 triples, shared by Curry, Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall.

Curry finished the contest with 46 points and went 13-of-17 from beyond the arc in 36 minutes.

His shooting spree came a game after the two-time MVP went 0-for-10 from 3-point range in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. That performance snapped a streak of 157 games with at least one made 3-pointer.

Curry bounced back to carry the Warriors and help keep the Pelicans winless.
