SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- The San Francisco 49ers will battle the rival Seattle Seahawks tonight at Levi's Stadium while commuters, residents and fans in the area will be battling traffic.

Parking passes start at $40 on Ticketmaster and go all the way up to $500 on the secondary market.

Jim Tomsula was spotted at a car wash before preparing for the Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers head coach has the right game plan for getting to Levi's Stadium -- getting there early.

A 49ers game on a weeknight means commuter traffic collides with stadium traffic. Will workers in the area be able to get off early to avoid the tens of thousands of fans expected to flood their streets before the 5:25 p.m. kickoff? Depends on where you work:

"We're lucky. Our company lets us come and go as we please. For people who have to work until 5 p.m., I guess they'll have to deal with traffic and for those who don't want to deal I guess they can leave early or stay late," said Nick Nguyen, World Financial Group employee.

49ers officials say travel times to and from the game have gotten much better since the stadium opened last year.

VTA is running 10 extra trains before the game and 12 additional trains after the game. Caltrain is running a regular weekday schedule before the game, but will add two special northbound trains after the game.
