NBA All-Star Weekend kicked off Friday night with the Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge. The festivities continue on Saturday, as the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, JBL Three-Point Contest and Verizon Slam Dunk Competition take center stage.
The Skills Challenge will feature All-Stars Isaiah Thomas, John Wall, Gordon Hayward, DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, as well asKristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns second-year standout Devin Booker and Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic.
Karl-Anthony Towns won the event last year, while Thomas is participating for a third straight time. Cousins and Davis are making appearances for the second year in a row. Who do you think will win?
Stephen Curry won the 3-point contest in 2015, and his backcourt mate Klay Thompson took home the trophy in 2016. Thompson will look to repeat as champion in a field that includes Kyrie Irving, Nick Young, Kemba Walker, Kyle Lowry, Eric Gordon, Wesley Matthews and C.J. McCollum. Who will be the 3-point king this time around?
The dunk contest will feature LA Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, Indiana Pacers forward Glenn Robinson III, Orlando Magic forward and 2016 runner-upAaron Gordon, and Phoenix Suns rookie Derrick Jones Jr. Vote for your winner.
NBA All-Star Saturday will begin at 8 p.m. ET on TNT. The All-Star Game between the Eastern and Western Conference will bring the festivities to an end at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday.
