Vote: Who would win a playoff series between the Showtime Lakers and the 2015-16 Warriors?

Golden State has already claimed the title of best regular-season team in NBA history by virtue of its 73-win campaign. Now, up 2-0 in the 2015-16 Finals, the Warriors are taking aim at a spot in the pantheon of all-time greats.

Up next on their list: The Showtime Lakers, after Klay Thompson boldly declared his squad was better than his dad's legendary team.

Of course, Magic Johnson, the maestro of those run-and-gun juggernauts, vehemently disagreed, saying the Warriors couldn't match up with his unit.

So which team would win this hypothetical playoff series? You be the judge.

The Pat Riley-led Lakers captured five titles in nine years and boast multiple Hall of Famers, headlined by the Big 3 of Magic, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and James Worthy. They won no fewer than 54 games under Riley and eclipsed the 60-win mark five times during that run.

The Warriors' success the past two years has been well-documented. Stephen Curry has copped back-to-back MVP awards and established himself as arguably the best shooter in league history, while Draymond Green and Thompson are bona fide stars in their own rights, giving the defending champs the game's most-feared attack in years.

Another title would certainly make this debate that much better.
