Apple faithful camp out for iPhone 7 around the world
At 8 a.m., Tim Cook welcomed the first of many eager customers into the Palo Alto flagship Apple store. But shoppers were lining up for the new smartphones in front of stores around the world.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Friday marked the release of the new the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. At 8 a.m., Apple CEO Tim Cook welcomed the first of many eager customers into the Palo Alto flagship Apple store - making a cell phone purchase feel like a rockstar experience.

And it wasn't just here in the Bay Area. The lines were huge around the world. Watch ABC7 News reporter Jessica Castro's full report in the video player above.
