A hot new app called Close5 is making it easier for people to buy and sell items in their community.

The Close5 app lets you use and list for free. You can use public profiles to get to know who you're meeting up with and see what people are saying and selling in your community. You can message privately, so no phone numbers or emails are needed.

Tips for using Close5:

Listing: Snap a photo of your item from your phone! No price or description is necessary.

Messaging: Accept an offer to message privately and coordinate your exchange.

Meeting: Meet in a public place, such as your local coffee shop, and complete your sale.
