New bill may allow companies to phase out landlines
If a new bill passes, the California State Assembly would let phone companies like AT&T dismantle the old analog telephone network.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- How many of you still have a landline phone? The number's getting smaller each year and now, a bill in the California State Assembly would let phone companies like AT&T dismantle the old analog telephone network.
