Bay Bridge troll finds new home on eastern span

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The infamous Bay Bridge troll finally has a new home and it's in a place that's hard to spot and impossible for the public to reach.

The 18-inch steel figure was created for the bridge's new eastern span to replace the old troll on the old span.

Its new home is under the bridge, where the southern suspension cable meets its eastern anchor point. There's no way to see the troll if you're driving, but you can see it from a boat.

Once the bridge's new pedestrian path is finished, you might be able to spot it from there as well.
