RICHMOND, Calif. (KGO) -- The brutal commute across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge could soon get easier.
On Monday night, a community meeting on the Marin traffic crisis will look at the proposal to open a third lane in the eastbound direction of the bridge.
California Assembly Member Marc Levine, introduced urgency legislation last month to speed up restoration of a third lane.
If the bill passes in the Spring, Levine says the third eastbound lane could be finished as early as next year
