Bay Area rental makes Airbnb top 10 global destinations

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Airbnb is out with the top 10 list of its desired properties around the world.

Making the list at number 6 is the Mushroom Dome Cabin in Aptos, in Santa Cruz County.

The property can accommodate up to three people and sits on 10 acres of land out in the woods.

The price starts at $110 a night but is higher on the weekends. Given the popularity, you may have to book six to eight months in advance.

There are two other California locations and three in Italy that make the list.

Number one on the list is a tree house in Atlanta.
