SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A body that was recovered from the San Francisco Bay Thursday afternoon has been identified as one of the three people missing from the capsized boat, authorities said.
The San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office identified the body as 58-year-old Tondra Madruga of Sacramento County.
The owner of the boat that sank Tuesday tells us she was a family friend.
Madruga's family wrote in a statement, saying "Our family is heartbroken by the loss of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Our hearts remain with every family impacted, and we sincerely appreciate your kindness and understanding."
Tondra is the second person confirmed dead in the disaster.

On Wednesday, investigators identified 79-year-old Clifford Boisa from Sutter County.
Clifford's brother John Boisa owned the boat.
Many of their family members were among the 20 people on board Tuesday, setting out to spread a relative's ashes.
John Boisa told us his sister Carol and Clifford's wife Jackie are the two other people still missing.
The U.S. Coast Guard suspects a large wave may have overtaken the boat- though investigators will likely need to recover the vessel to confirm a cause.
San Francisco firefighters say they will probably need outside help to find the boat and raise it from the bottom of the bay.
