Dr. Dre buys Tom Brady's SoCal mansion for $40 million

BRENTWOOD, Calif. (KGO) -- Dr. Dre just bought the Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen mega-mansion in Southern California at the bargain basement price of just $40 million. That's $10 million below asking.

Dre snatched the 14,000 thousand square foot pad in Brentwood for well below the list price of $50 million.

The Los Angeles Times said the deal became official Wednesday, with Dr. Dre cashing in on some of the money from his $3 billion sale of Beats Electronics to Apple.

Brady, a San Mateo native, and his supermodel wife built the six bedroom estate that comes with an outdoor kitchen, infinity pool with a view of the Pacific Ocean, and even a moat.
