The train was on the Antioch Line, and caused delays in both the SFO Airport and Antioch directions.
BART officials said that between 200 and 300 people had to be off-loaded and taken to a different train, and that other trains were single-tracking to get by.

A working train came to tow away the disabled one and the tracks are now clear.
This comes just days after a BART train partially derailed in the East Bay, sending nine people to the hospital and causing significant travel issues.
