2024 Black Joy Parade: Highlights from day of celebrating community, history and culture in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The streets of Oakland were rallied with people from all walks of life on Sunday to celebrate Black History Month at the annual Black Joy Parade.

The event celebrates and highlights the Black experience, along with the community's contribution to history and culture. Thousands come out every year to spread Black Joy throughout The Town.
