MONTARA, Calif. (KGO) -- The 22-year-old San Mateo County man vanished without a trace on his way to work more than a month ago. He was last seen heading into the Devil's Slide Tunnel south of Pacifica. A possible clue was found near Montara State Beach Thursday.

Volunteer searchers told ABC7 News a car belonging to Richard Moss was discovered 300 feet north of Montara State Beach on Thursday morning. Officials later clarified that only part of a vehicle was found and they're not sure if it belongs to the missing 22-year-old.

Dan is making his third trip to the mainland after his son disappeared.

Moss, 22, was on his way to work and made a stop at McDonald's, drove through the Devil's Slide tunnel and then simply vanished.
