OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The Oakland Zoo has a new addition to their family of critters -- two California Mountain Lion cubs now call the zoo home.

This is really a major "get" for the zoo. Having Mountain Lions on display is rare.

Both of the cubs are male and were found separately in Orange County. Wildlife researchers believe they may be siblings and plan to do DNA testing to confirm that.

The cubs will be on exhibit next year in the Zoo's new California Trail.

"When we complete their exhibit these kittens are going to grow into full adults, they will be residents here at the zoo, and they'll be in one of the largest Mountain Lion exhibits in the country," said Doctor Joel Parrott.
