USGS reports 3.1-magnitude earthquake in Santa Clara Co.

SAN MARTIN, Calif. (KGO) -- A 3.1-magnitude earthquake was reported in San Martin, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was reported at 4 p.m. and was centered in an area about 7 miles east of Morgan Hill, USGS officials said.

No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
