The CHP says they think the shooting happened on I-280 near the Crystal Springs offramp in San Bruno, but they are still working to determine the exact location.

The injured driver then drove to Burlingame. He was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries, the CHP said.
All southbound lanes on I-280 near Trousdale Drive in Burlingame were closed for investigation for about half an hour, until 6:30 p.m.
Investigators are still searching for the driver who opened fire.
