Looks like New Jersey residents have a new grizzly-sized neighbor.

The video below shows what looks like a bear wandering around Jefferson Township, New Jersey in the early morning hours of August 5. The creature just casually strides on its hind legs, almost looking like a large furry human rather than a wild bruin. Many have cried "Sasquatch," speculating that this is perhaps an unknown species (or a person in costume), but the popular opinion seems to be that it is in fact a bear.

Maybe it grew tired of living in the wild and wanted to acclimate itself to suburban life. Or maybe it was just looking for trash to eat. We'll never know, but it is startling and pretty amusing to see this bear walking upright.
