CAMPBELL, Calif. (KGO) -- Investigators in Campbell are trying to figure out why a crane collapsed, crashing right into a house. No one was hurt. Work went into the night to try to restore power to that neighborhood.

A crane that was brought in to help upright the fallen crane left the neighborhood around 5:30 a.m. They were able to get the fallen crane out around 2:30 Wednesday morning. Then it took a few hours to get all their equipment off of Sondra Way.

A subcontractor for PG&E had been working to remove a power pole from the backyard of a house when it fell just before noon. The crane clipped two backyard sheds before crashing on to the roof of a house on Charmain Drive.

Power is on in this neighborhood, but it's from a generator. PG&E is expected to be out today to get everyone back online.
