Two men rob St. Helena jewelry store in broad daylight

SAINT. HELENA -- Two armed men robbed a jewelry store in Saint Helena Wednesday morning, according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office.

The robbery occurred at 11:14 a.m. at David's Jewelers at 1343 Main St., a Saint Helena police dispatcher said.

The suspects, possibly 20 to 30 years old, were wearing black clothing and were last seen on foot at Main and Pine streets, sheriff's officials said.

The suspects are still at large. A store employee said no shots were fired during the robbery and no one was hurt.

Saint Helena and Calistoga police and the California Highway Patrol are investigating the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call Saint Helena police at (707) 967-2850.
