Saturday marked the first full day of Marines on duty in Los Angeles, one week after protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids ignited in LA and spread to other cities across the U.S., including New York City, San Francisco, Boston, and Austin, Texas.

Meanwhile, more than 2,000 "No Kings Day" protests were held across the U.S. on Saturday to protest the Trump administration and to counterprogram the military parade in Washington, D.C., organizers said. More than 5 million people participated, according to organizers.

Georgia attorney general won't 'hesitate to bring Domestic Terrorism charges for those who earn it'

As the nationwide protests reach Atlanta, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr warned in a statement, "If you engage in violence for the purpose of changing public policy, you can be charged with Domestic Terrorism."

"We will defend the right to peacefully protest," Carr said, adding, "We will not hesitate to bring Domestic Terrorism charges for those who earn it."

15 arrested, 2 officers injured in Philadelphia protests

Philadelphia police say 15 people were arrested Tuesday night amid tense moments unfolded between protesters and police in Center City.

Nearly 150 demonstrators started gathering around 4 p.m. outside the Federal Detention Center (FDC) while speaking out against President Donald Trump's immigration enforcement.

Police say there was a march to ICE headquarters around 4 p.m. At about 6:16 p.m., some members of the group began disrupting traffic and blocking streets, police said.

Fourteen people were arrested for disorderly conduct. One man was arrested for aggravated assault on an officer.

86 arrested at anti-ICE protest in New York City

Thousands protesting President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown gathered in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday.

Eighty-six people were arrested at 26 Federal Plaza and nearby Foley Square, which is across from where ICE operations in New York City have been centered.

Jaysha Patel reports on the protests from Lower Manhattan.

Thirty-four were charged with crimes including assault, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, the NYPD said. One person was charged with reckless endangerment. Fifty-two were issued criminal court summonses and released, police said.

The NYPD activated additional officers after 9 p.m., when protesters returned to 26 Federal Plaza after blocking Varick Street in front of a federal building containing an immigration office. During the later protests, police officials said demonstrators threw bottles at officers and threw traffic cones and garbage into the road.

Federal agents deployed tear gas at the crowd near Chambers and Church streets.

Protest groups are asking for demonstrators to return to Foley Square at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Gov. Greg Abbott to deploy Texas National Guard in anticipation of protests

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said he was deploying the Texas National Guard to multiple locations across the state to "ensure peace and order."

The deployment comes ahead of planned protests this week in Texas, including one in San Antonio.

A statement from Abbott's office obtained by ABC News' affiliate KSAT confirmed the deployment, saying Guardsmen were ready to "uphold law and order across our state."
