Man dies after falling about 200 feet from cliff at San Francisco's Lands End

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A man was killed after falling from a cliff at San Francisco's Lands End, according to SFFD.

Sky 7 was over the scene when firefighters responded to a report of a man who fell into the ocean from a cliff near San Francisco's Legion of Honor.

Fire crews say the man plunged about 200 feet and was on rocks in the surf.

Crews on a boat, jet skis and swimmers tried to reach him. Minutes after responding, rescue crews recovered a body.

They confirm the victim did not survive the fall.
